Norfolk County Council took the decision to close Bradwell Library in 2003 as part of a cost cutting exercise.
However, with the help of Bradwell Parish Council and members of the public, Bradwell Community Library was born.
The manager, helpers, trustees and committee members are all volunteers. All the books, tapes and CD’s are donated, covering many genres, so there’s something for everyone.
Despite being flooded during the autumn flash floods, the Library continues to go from strength to strength.
Bradwell Community Library is situated in the Reading Room on Lords Lane in Bradwell, and is open on: –
Mondays from 10am until 12.30pm
Thursdays from 2pm until 5pm
Saturdays from 10am until 12.30pm
