Thursday June 2nd
2pm to 5pm Chapel Tea Room, Methodist Hall, Church Lane Jubilee Launch events – All welcome
9pm Raising of the Flag, Green Lane Recreation Ground And ringing of the church bells
9.45pm Lighting of the Jubilee Beacon at St Nicholas church and a
toast to Her Majesty in the Church Hall
Friday June 3rd
1pm to 4pm Street Party on Church Walk with stalls, games and activities – bring your own food – free tea and coffee
Saturday June 4th
10am to 4pm The Jubilee Café, The Old School Village Centre – Tea, Coffee, Cakes etc homemade and served by the Women’s Institute in a Jubilee setting. Photographic exhibition by the GYDPS
Followed by: Live streaming of the Concert @ the Palace from Buckingham Palace. St Nicholas Church (time – to be confirmed)
Sunday June 5th
10am Jubilee Church Service at St Nicholas Church
12 to 6pm – Picnic in the Park – Green Lane Recreation Ground
All-age activities, live entertainment, food, and stalls. Bring your own picnic or buy at the stalls. Limited parking for Blue Badge holders only
Please walk where possible.
